Digital Knowledge Research and Development Center of Shiraz University of Technology by investigation the opportunities and challenges of using information technology in the field of digital knowledge in order to provide technical and consulting services at the local, regional, national and international levels and developing policies and solutions for productivity in managing, supporting and using new technology was founded in various fields of digital knowledge.
General purpose
conducting applied research in the field of digital knowledge and artificial intelligence in order to expand the application of information technologies and data science in various processes related to digital knowledge such as digital education, digital currency, digital business and economy, and digital security and applications of artificial intelligence in services, and industry based on upstream documents, local, national, regional and forward-looking needs and the creation and support of technological units collaborating with organizations and institutions related to digital knowledge.

1- Providing a suitable platform for cooperation with organizations and institutions related to the field of digital knowledge in order to conduct interdisciplinary research in the fields related to new technologies.
2- Designing and implementing research projects and knowledge production in the field of digital knowledge
3- Creating an entrepreneurial environment and supporting the innovation and creativity of young researchers
4- Production and development of marketable technology products and processes in the field of education, currency and digital business
5- Holding various educational and research courses with the aim of empowering students, teachers, researchers, students and faculty members in designing, implementing and analyzing technological projects related to the field of digital knowledge.
